Announcements 10th – 11th December 2011, 3rd Sunday of Advent
1. Altar Servers Outing
a. The Altar Servers Outing will be held this Monday, 12th December.
b. Please be at the front porch of the church by 0900H. Do be punctual. Servers who have indicated their attendance but fail to turn up without a valid reason will be charged a penalty fee of $20.
c. Dress casually for games and bring along the following items
i. Water bottle and snacks
ii. Any medication
iii. Bathing equipment (Optional)
iv. Umbrella/Poncho
v. EZ Link Card
vi. About $20 (Lunch and other expenses)
vii. Servers shirt/long pants and covered shoes (Compulsory)
d. Servers will be sent back to SFX Church for mass by 6pm. They will be dismissed after mass.
2. Christmas Gift Exchange (URGENT)
a. Please submit your Christmas Gift by this Sunday, 11th December to any Exco Member of Subcommittee Head.
3. Holiday Activities
a. Serves interested in playing soccer during the December break are to cast their votes on their available dates on the Facebook wall by Sunday 18th December. Those without Facebook can contact Raphael Ng. As this is not an official event, there will be no consent form required.
4. Penitential Service
a. Penitential service for our parish will be held on Tuesday, 13th December at 8pm. Servers leading the procession are Luke Yeo, Matthew Tan and Bryan Tan. Duty Sacristan will be Shawn Wong.
5. Administration (Rosters and Special Events)
a. Updated Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Mass Rosters are published. Kindly refer to these rosters and adhere strictly to all instructions provided.
b. Group 1 will be serving Novena next Saturday, 17th December.
c. Special Events Roster for December has been published. Please check if you are scheduled.
d. As the school holidays have started, servers are to serve 2 weekday masses a week. One morning mass is compulsory.
e. The Letter of Excuse is to be submitted and approved if a server is unable to fulfil any mass or novena requirement. Failure to do so will result in a server being marked as absent without official leave and he is liable for disciplinary action.
f. Raphael Ng will be away from Saturday, 10th December to Tuesday, 12th December. For urgent matters, please contact Nicholas Lim or Shawn Wong.

a. All servers are to note that the Roman Missal can be found at the high table (for preparation) and must be placed back on the high table during thanksgiving. The term "Sacramentary" will also no longer be used.
