Announcements 24th – 25th December 2011, The Nativity of The Lord
1. Canteen and Chinese New Year Cookie Sales
a. Canteen is on Sunday, 15th Jan 2012. Please ask your parents what they would like to contribute. Exco members and Subcommittee Heads will contact you soon.
b. Chinese New Year Cookie Sales will take place over 3 weekends, starting Sunday, 1st Jan 2012. Please check the roster to see when you are scheduled. Notify Andre Dumont 1 week in advance if you are unable to make it. You must first find your own replacement.
c. Please take a copy of the Chinese New Year Cookie Sales form for your family.
2. Christmas Gift Exchange
a. Please collect your Christmas Gift after Mass. The Executive Committee and Subcommittee Heads would like to wish all servers and their families a Blessed Christmas filled with the love, joy, peace and hope of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
3. Serangoon District Youth Conference 2012
a. This is a 2 day, no n residential retreat for youth s in the Serangoon District. It will be held from 9am, 14 Jan to 7pm, 15 Jan 2012. All servers aged 13 years and above, especially facilitators, are strongly encouraged to attend. Those interested are to submit their name and t-shirt size to Nigel Rankine by Sunday, 25th December.
4. Year End Meeting and Potluck
a. All appointment holders are to note that there is a year-end meeting and potluck on Thursday, 29th December from 7pm to 10pm in the Good Shepherd Room. Please indicate your attendance on the Facebook event wall.
5. Administration (Rosters and Special Events)
a. Updated Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Mass Rosters are published. Kindly refer to these rosters and adhere strictly to all instructions provided. Please note that there is no 530pm mass on Christmas Day.
b. Group 3 servers will be serving the Novena service next Saturday, 31st December.
c. Monday, 26th Dec and Monday 2nd Jan 2012 are public holidays. There is only 1 weekday mass at 830am. Sacristans for Monday morning mass to set up.
d. Special Events Roster for December has been published. Please check if you are scheduled.
e. As the school holidays have started, servers are to serve 2 weekday masses a week. One morning mass is compulsory.
f. The Letter of Excuse is to be submitted and approved if a server is unable to fulfil any mass or novena requirement. Failure to do so will result in a server being marked as absent without official leave and he is liable for disciplinary action.
g. The following group 4 servers will be reassigned to new mass groups with effect from 1 Jan 2012. Any requests for amendments must be made by Saturday, 31st Dec through Raphael Ng.

6. Training
a. With immediate effect, the thurible and boat will not be carried during procession OUT as it is liturgically incorrect.
b. With immediate effect, all members of the clergy including the archbishop shall be censed with the thurible 3 sets of 2 times. All other procedures remain the same.
