Announcements 23th – 24th June 2012, The Nativity of St John the Baptist




1.     Administration (Rosters and Special Events)
a.     Group 4 servers will be serving the Novena service on Sat, 30th Jun.
b.     Special events roster for June has been published.

2.     Archbishop’s Cup Tournament
a.     All players to return their washed jerseys and bibs to the top of the cassock cupboard.  They are to be folded neatly.  Players who are caught making a mess in the cupboard will be made to sweep the floor. 

3.     Contact List
a.      All servers are to take home a copy of the updated contact list.  They are responsible for taking care of their own list and are not to give any excuses about not having the contact numbers of their fellow servers.  Group Leaders to ensure as many did not take home the contact list last week.

Announcements 16th – 17th June 2012, 11th Sunday of Ordinary Time



1.     Administration (Rosters and Special Events)
a.     Group 3 servers will be serving the Novena service on Sat, 23rd Jun.
b.     Special events roster for June has been published.

2.     Archbishop’s Cup Tournament
a.     We thank all players for putting in their best efforts in the recent Archbishop’s Cup Tournament.  The U13 team exceeded expectations and managed to reach the semi-finals.  We also thank all servers and parents who have taken time to lend their support.

3.     Altar Severs Retreat (HIGH IMPORTANCE)
a.     The retreat is this week, Tues, 19th Jun to Thu, 21st Jun.  Please check your retreat groupings on the noticeboard.  Report to the canteen area at 9am sharp on Tues.  You will be dismissed at 7pm on Thurs.
b.     Servers who are not attending the retreat are to serve their morning and evening masses from Tues, 19th Jun to Thu, 21st Jun.  Duty sacristans for these days will follow the usual rosters.  Replacements must be found if they are unable to perform their duties.  If you are a duty sacristan and are attending the retreat, you will be given time to set up.
c.     The Gift Bearers are organising intercessory prayer sessions on Tue and Wed night, 19th and 20th Jun at 8pm for the intentions of the Altar Servers Society.  The sessions will be held at the grotto.  We appreciate their kind support.  Kindly inform your parents.  Servers who are not attending the retreat are strongly encouraged to attend. 
d.     Briefing and preparation for the retreat is on Mon, 18th Jun from 2pm to 5pm.  All Exco, Heads, Facilitators and Retreat ICs are to attend.
