Announcements 1st – 2nd Dec 2012, 1st Sunday of Advent

1.     Administration (Rosters and Special Events)

a.     Special events roster for Dec has been published.

b.     Group 2 servers will be serving the Novena service on next Sat, 8^th Dec.

c.     Servers who have started their school holidays are to serve 2 weekday masses

2.     Executive Committee

a.     Meeting will be held next Saturday, 8^th Dec at 8pm in Our Lady of Grace Room.

3.     Intercessions for Year of Faith and Gift Bearers’ Retreat

a.     All appointment holders are on duty for the Year of Faith Intercessory Prayers in the Adoration Room this Thu, 6^th Dec at 8pm.  Please be punctual and do not keep the other parishioners waiting.

b.     All appointment holders are to check the rosters to find out which days they have been assigned to lead intercessory prayers for the Gift Bearers Retreat from 13^th to 15^th Dec.  A mutual swap should be arranged if an appointment holder is unable to turn up for his assigned date.

4.     Trip to Universal Studios Singapore

a.     A trip to Universal Studios Singapore will be organised for all servers on Thu, 13^th Dec.  Please obtain a consent form.

b.     Attendance is strongly encouraged but not compulsory.

c.     Ticket fees are subsidised.

d.     Please return the ticket fees and consent form sealed together in an envelope by Sun, 9^th Dec, 1pm latest.  Servers are strongly advised to submit your envelope by Sun, 2^nd Dec in order to avoid missing the deadline.

e.     Late submissions after Sun, 9^th Dec, 1pm will strictly not be entertained.  This is due to the deadline stipulated by Universal Studios Singapore.

5.     Advent Wreath

a.     Group Leaders to assign a server to assist the celebrant in the lighting of the Advent candle for each weekend mass for the season of Advent.

b.     Sacristans to ensure that the Advent candle is lighted prior to weekday masses.

6.     Year of Faith

a.     Sharing resumes this Friday, 7^th Dec for servers secondary 1 and above.

7.     Christmas Gift Exchange

a.     Group Leaders to read the guidelines attached.

All executive committee members are to complete their calling of servers for the gift exchange by Sunday, 2^nd Dec and update Andre Dumont on the status.
