Administration (Rosters and Special Events)

Special events roster for December has beenupdated.  All to check.

c.

Group 2 servers will be serving the Novena servicenext Sat, 30th Nov. Please note that sharing is cancelled for those sec 1 and above next Friday

d.

Servers on school holiday are required to serve 2 weekday masses each week.

 

2.

Sharing

a.

Sharing for servers secondary 1 and above is on this Friday, 29th Nov at 830pm.

 

3.

Year End Outreach Project

a.

The Society will be organising a number of visits to St Theresa’s Home during December.  All servers are to check the rosters to see when they would be participating in these visits and bring home a consent form, which is to be signed by one’s parents and submitted by next Sun, 1st Dec.  

 

4.

Primary School Retreat

a.

The Retreat for Primary School Servers will be held from 16th to 18th Dec (Mon to Wed).  Consent formsshould have been submitted last week.  Servers who have not done so are to meet their Group Leaders after mass.

 

5.

SFX Feast Day

a.

The SFX Feast Day triduum will be held on Tue, Wed and Fri, 26th, 27th and 29th of November at 8pm.  Rosters have been published.  They are counted as weekday masses.

i.

Servers unable to make it need to find a replacement

ii.

Duty leaders and duty sacristans unable to make it need to find replacements who are Group Leaders and Sacristans respectively.

b.

SFX Feast Day will be celebrated on Sun, 1st Dec at 11am.

i.

It is a FULL SOCIETY MASS.  Bring along cape and sash and report by 915am to the Basement Chapel for Spiritual Preparation.  Attendance to be marked by David de Souza.  Servers unable to serve are to submit a detailed letter of excuse.

ii.

All servers not in group 4 and not on the mass team will be required to serve their normal weekend masses.  All sacristans and group leaders on the mass team must still ensure that they have an able replacement for their normal mass times.

iii.

Group 3 leader to allocate 5 servers to serve the 9am mass on that day.  Only these servers are exempted from reporting at 915am.  The remaining group 3 servers will serve another weekend mass.  

iv.

Mass team roster has been published.

v.

Training for MASS TEAM ONLY will be held on this Sun, 24th Nov at 2pm in Church.  

6.

Training

a.

Cleansing of sacred vessels will always be done at the Altar from next Sunday, 1st Dec onwards.

7.

Sacristans

a.

Duty Sacristans are to set up one water bowl at the high table for the communion ministers to wash their hands after communion on weekdays.
